I wonder. Do you think this might be the beginning of an "advance fee" scam? Maybe he really does want to "help a many people"? Or maybe he's a made up character running a scam.
Update.
I emailed my friend Christian Yves Ponthon and asked to borrow €500,000 and guess what? My request was immediately approved. All I needed to do was send him my personal details and a copy of my ID and he would lend me the money at a mere 2% interest, no repayments necessary for 8 months.
Oh and one other thing.
He needed €500 up front. A fee. In advance. An advance fee.
